Sommervilles opened in 2018 when Lisa brought twenty years of craft to her own chair, with one simple idea — proper haircuts and proper conversation. Whether you're after a fresh skin fade, a tidy beard, or a full restyle, you're in good hands.

We're proudly autism-friendly. All our barbers are highly experienced cutting children with complex needs, and our private room means a haircut away from the noise and bustle of the shop whenever it's needed. Just ask when you book.

Lisa has been a barber for 22 years and has dedicated her career to providing great service and building lasting relationships with her clients. In 2018, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening her own barbershop. Through hard work, determination, and a passion for the trade, she built the business from the ground up into the thriving shop it is today—a achievement she is incredibly proud of. Lisa values the fantastic team around her and is grateful for the loyal clients who have supported her throughout the years. For her, barbering is more than a profession; it’s about community, connection, and making people feel their best in the scheme she grew up in.

Stacy

Stacy has been in the barbering industry for over 14 years, beginning her journey with three years of hairdressing training before discovering that barbering was where her true passion lay. She has been part of the Sommervilles team since the early days of the shop opening, building a loyal clientele through her dedication, experience, and love for the job. Stacy takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every client and is passionate about helping people look and feel their best.

Nikki

Nikki With 12 years in the barbering industry and qualifications in hairdressing too, Nikki brings plenty of experience to the chair. She’s been part of the Sommerville team for 4 years and loves the fun atmosphere and great banter in the shop. Nikki is passionate about her job, enjoys meeting new people every day, and loves helping clients feel confident and look their best. She’s incredibly grateful for her loyal client base and the friendships she’s built over the years, and looks forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces into the shop.

Faith

Faith joined Somerville’s Barbers as an apprentice , where she quickly settled in and became a valued member of the team. Since then, she has built up a loyal and steadily growing clientele. Faith believes that every day is an opportunity to learn something new, and her passion for the trade shines through in the service she provides to every customer.
